This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies TruMint uses, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser, remember your preferences, and keep you signed in between visits. Similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage work in the same way but store data within your browser rather than as a file.

We use one analytics tool, PostHog, hosted in the EU, and only with your consent. It records named product actions — signing up, verifying your email, enabling two-factor, linking a bank or broker, uploading a CSV, asking the assistant a question, opening the app — as counts against an anonymous id. It never records amounts, merchants, holdings, account numbers, page URLs or your IP address, and it does not track you across other websites. Automatic click and page capture is disabled. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the platform to function. They enable core features such as authentication and session management. Under UK PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), these cookies do not require your consent, but we are required to inform you of their use.
4. Your Analytics Choice
Analytics only runs if you choose “Allow analytics” in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change that choice here at any time. Declining has no effect on any feature.
